Terms & Conditions 1. Orders & Booking All cakes are made to order. Orders are confirmed only once full payment has been received. We operate on a first come, first served basis — dates are not held without payment. 2. Payments We are a full payment upfront business. Payment methods accepted: EFT (bank transfer) Yoco payment link (for custom orders) Yoco checkout (for website orders) No orders will be started or secured without full payment. 3. Pricing All cakes are custom priced based on size, design, and complexity. Quotes are valid for a limited time and may change if not accepted promptly. 4. Changes to Orders Changes may be accommodated depending on the stage of preparation. Additional costs may apply. We cannot guarantee changes close to the event date. 5. Cancellations & Refunds Due to the custom nature of our products, no refunds are guaranteed once work has begun. Cancellation requests will be assessed based on how much work has already been completed. 6. Design Disclaimer All cakes are handmade and may vary slightly from reference images. We do not guarantee exact replicas. 7. Allergies & Ingredients Our kitchen handles common allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free product. 8. Collection & Delivery Customers may collect their cakes or arrange their own courier at their own risk. Delivery by Cape to Cake is available at an additional charge. 9. Wedding & Tiered Cakes Multi-tier cakes require professional delivery and setup. Setup and delivery fees will be quoted separately. 10. Cake Care & Responsibility Once the cake has been collected or delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer. Proper storage instructions must be followed to maintain quality. 11. Liability Cape to Cake is not liable for: Damage after collection Damage caused during third-party transport Improper storage 12.
